Mulhern joined AMRI as Chief Executive Officer in January 2018, after previously serving on AMRI’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining AMRI, Mr.
Mulhern served as CEO and Executive Chairman of Sterigenics International from 2011 through 2017, during which time he built the company into a leading global provider of contract sterilization, gamma technologies and medical isotopes. Mulhern has now led four companies backed by private equity firm GTCR, where he has established a track record of operational excellence, quality customer service and global growth. In addition to serving as CEO of AMRI and Sterigenics, Mr. Mulhern previously served as CEO and Chairman of Fairmount Food Group and American Sanitary. Before joining American Sanitary, he held senior executive roles at Baxter International and Alliant Foodservice.
